ABOUT MFVA
Helping Your Mental Health Practice Grow
We help mental healthcare providers do more purposeful work with trained virtual assistants by offloading their administrative tasks.
CO-CEOS
We’re Jennifer Crawford & Meredith Eaton
Hi! We’re new around here! As of June 2022, we are the new owners and acting CEOs of Move Forward Virtual Assistants.
Our love for the virtual assistant industry started with our VA agency, Sparent, where we work with an incredible virtual talent pool of stay-at-home moms who handle daily operations for our clients—consultants and law firms with growing businesses.
Mission & Culture
Our mission is to help mental health providers grow their private practices without stress and overwhelm so they can help more people get the care they need.
We provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment so our employees can do their best work for you! It’s incredibly rewarding to see in-demand but overwhelmed mental health professionals get administrative assistance so their practices can scale to help more people.
We are equally passionate about providing flexible, rewarding work for our amazing MFVA employees in a culture that supports work-life integration over work-life balance. As employers, we have a responsibility to provide a culture that promotes good mental health by minimizing stress and maximizing flexibility.
History & Roots
Move Forward Virtual Assistants was founded by Alison Pidgeon, MA, LPC, who recognized a need for virtual assistants who were trained in the administrative needs of mental health providers.
Her business consulting clients were losing session hours and free time to the overwhelming demands of scheduling, insurance, billing, and marketing. They wanted to get back to their core work, grow their practices, and have more time.
We’re honored that Alison chose to sell MFVA to us in 2022 and feel a profound responsibility to continue what Alison started while shepherding MFVA toward its future. We look forward to living up to her vision for MFVA!
Hi, I’m Brayn "Bambam" Cranium, III, MFVA’s alter ego and chief inspiration officer!
Bambam is a multi-tasker with top-notch organizational skills. He's always eager to help. He's not a great typist (no hands), but thank goodness there's text to talk because Bambam loves to talk!
Bambam got his nickname because when he got upset, he’d pound his head on the desk out of frustration. Now Bambam uses his nickname to inspire others that even when you are frustrated, there's always another day.
“My most important role is MOTIVATION and INSPIRATION! I’m here to inspire our VAs and put a smile on their faces when they start their day. I remind them that ‘You're the voice for someone that needs your help.’”
